St-Helier La Corbiere -Jersey

[ Cycle routes Tour de Manche ] [ Jersey ]
  • 11.5 km
  • famille Level Family

This is an easy stage, because apart from a very short stretch of road, it is an entirely car-free route all the way to La Corbiere. The eachside cycle track is level to the picturesque St.Aubin’s Village, and only climbs very gently once on the track bed of the old Jersey railway company.

Cycling in the Tracks of Steam

Of Jersey’s many quiet trails, one of the most popular is the short (7.5 miles/12 kilometres) and almost entirely flat Tracks of Steam cycle way. Follow the line of the Jersey Railways and Tramways Company to the delightful 17th century fishing village of St Aubin – also home to a fort, accessible at low tide.
